The FFC Process

The Four Stages of Wealth Management

The purpose of what we do at the Financial Fitness Center, Inc. is to offer solutions for many of the financial facets of our client’s lives. We don’t simply “do” taxes or “invest” you money, we build a big picture in response to the unique aspects of your life. The following stages are on-going and intertwined.

Analyze

Examine the tax and financial needs providing each client with ongoing advice and counseling to make sound financial decisions. During this stage of the process, we would consider such topics as:

  • Taking charge of your financial future
  • Determining your goals for investments
  • Utilizing time tested and current strategies
  • Determine the level of risk for investments
  • Changing jobs
  • Starting a business
  • Utilizing current regulations and laws to your advantage

Plan

Design personalized strategies for minimizing taxes and maximizing investments to pursue the client’s needs and goals today, tomorrow, and the future. We would explore:

  • Minimizing your taxes
  • Creating an estate plan
  • Setting a retirement goal
  • Caring for an aging loved one
  • Buying a new home
  • Purchasing insurance
  • Planning for college expenses
  • Developing a charitable giving strategy
  • Getting married
  • Managing debt or cash flow

Invest

The strategy is to tailor tax and investment services to pursue our client’s needs at every stop along the way. Areas that we will examine are:

  • Developing an investment strategy
  • Understanding the tax implications of an investment
  • Managing a pension
  • Managing family assets
  • Monitoring and rebalancing your portfolio
  • Managing investment with a trust or inheritance
  • Making  buy/sell decisions

Evaluate

The evolution of your financial well-being is a continuous process with on-going adjustments.

  • Reviewing investment needs
  • Diversifying a portfolio
  • Changing the strategy for the various stages in one’s life
  • Applying new strategies to address changes in tax laws

Investment and financial planning services are offered by Lois A Leynse, Anne C. Lowry, Jennifer James and Jennifer Stewart-Smith through their affiliation with HD Vest.
